COPYRIGHT PERMISSION

In order to be able to use the song 'Hey Now' by London Grammar, we had to construct an email requesting the copyright permission. If we do not, it may be copyright as we did not make the music ourselves. Unfortunately, Vicky was unable to find an email for London Grammar, as they are too well-known and we could not use social networking sites, such as Twitter because the Twitter count was too short, so it did not give us a chance to completely explain our reasoning behind wanting a copy of London Grammar's track. Therefore, I wrote a letter providing the full details and set out to find a second option. Although, Vicky did manage to find London Grammar's representative, Alex Hardee, who works for CODA Music Agency LLP. Along with this, I found an email so I was able to send the copyright permission letter to him. This was sent out in November 2014, however, we have still not recieved a reply.

The image to the left is the email that Vicky put together and sent to Alex Hardee, it clearly explains why we are writing to him and the purpose behind needing to use the track.
